New Delhi Accusing the Congress of trying to 'cover up' the Adarsh housing scam, BJP said reports of key papers pertaining to the scandal going missing was a "deliberate" move to protect important people involved in it.

"When the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ashok Chavan resigned over the issue, the files should have been kept carefully. This is a deliberate attempt by Congress to cover up the issue and protect key persons involved in the Adarsh housing scam," BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain told reporters.

He said BJP would do everything to "thwart attempts of the Congress to cover up the scam".

"There were key notings in the Adarsh file...how can it go missing? We believe there are bigger names involved in the housing scam and apart from Chavan, other wickets will fall.

BJP ONLY KNOW TO MAKE STATEMENT AND MEETINGS. THIS IS A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY FOR THEM TO BRING THE ISSUE TO THE PUBLIC AND MAKE THE RULLING FRONT A NIGHTMARE

I agree with you Rajmohanji! by Pandu RV Kuchibhotla on 29 Nov 2010

I agree with you Rajmohanji! Neither the namesake Main Opposition BJP along with its NDA-partners, nor its mentor - the SANGH PARIVAR can do nothing to expose Sonia Antonia Maino, the grand Italian widow of Rajiv-Roberto Gandhi(is he GANDHI?)!

BJP can do nothing by rajmohan k on 27 Nov 2010

BJP will only make a mere statement sitting in their headquarters and forget the issue. If it was the congress in the opposition, ask when they thrown out the BJP govt.? Remember, just for the Onion price increase, they managed to throw out the Delhi BJP govt.? BJP is too democratic and liberal, and that ideology does not work these days. Look at the congress, they will go to any extend, play any dirty game, sell the country, rob the country, promote communal divide, yet they remain in front of the (idiot) public as if they are the saviors of the country. Because they know how to fool the public, because their party is now ruled by the mother of all scamms, and that is the one and only Antonio Maino Sonia, the sameless Italian.

BJP can do nothing. by Raghu Rao on 29 Nov 2010

Rightly Said, and how very true.

When will we learn by john on 30 Nov 2010

The tragedy with the indian populace is it keeps getting fooled over and over again and they never have learnt their lesson. The issue is not about which political party rules. It is about what have they done. If congress is fooling the masses and is corrupt and dividing the masses on religion, caste and creed, then so is BJP also doing the same. The problem in todays india is that people donot want to stear free from hate as they have seacretly started liking it. But if we all consider our selves true patriots then we need to ask ourselves the question honestly, will all this make a differnce to our country and our standard of living. Indians have to learn one thing and that is division does not work and is weakness and that unity is strength. Once we learn that then politicians will have to understand that they will have to perform if they have to stay in power with a polulace that belives in unity and any kind of issue will not divide them.
