Badaun The district administration on Friday issued a notice to BJP nominee from Aonla, Maneka Gandhi, whose son Varun is already under fire for his anti-Muslim remarks, for allegedly violating model code of conduct by using government buildings for campaigning.

Sadar SDM Santosh Kumar Sharma issued notices to Maneka, and three others -- Samajwadi Party candidate from Aonla Dharmendra Kashyap, BSP candidate from Badaun D P Yadav and a local BJP leader D K Bharadwaj -- for allegedly using government buildings for their campaigning.

The SDM has given three days' time to all of them to remove their wall paintings failing which action will be taken against them as per the Model Code of Conduct.

When mms said, muslims should have first use of resources, why was he not given a notice. Here mms acted clever. He made these communal statement way before elections and thus EC did not served notice to him. Proteting afzal is also communal. Whe EC has not issue notice to sonia and mms then?

Varun is being victimised by Naresh Kumar on 21 Mar 2009

Something smells fishy here. The other political parties are trying to make Varun look like an outcaste. They are no better than Varun,if not worse. At least Varun is clean and good looking. The others are dirty, unkempt, rotten and ugly old buzzards. Varun was atleast honest in his speech. He did not indulge in doubletalk. Looks like Sonia has a hand in trying to get Varun out of the fray.
