While Akshay Kumar has been a favorite with Vipul Shah (Waqt-A Race Against Time, Aankhen, Namastey London, Singh Is Kinng) this is the first time that the filmmaker would be working with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film also stars Randhir Kapoor who would be seen on the silver screen after a hiatus of 8 years (Armaan in 2001). Randhir apparently plays a scientist in this time-travel tale.
The last time Akki and Ash worked together was in Rajkumar Santoshi's hard-hitting ‘Khakee’ which did fairly well at the B.O. One will have to wait and watch if the duo can do an 'action replay' of their past success this time around.
