Amitabh Bachchan's mother Teji Bachchan passes away

Mumbai, December 21: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan's mother Teji Bachchan died in Mumbai on Friday after prolonged illness. She was 93.

She was undergoing treatment at Lilawati Hospital in suburban Bandra for almost a year.

Teji, wife of legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, was shifted to ICU in November this year after her condition became serious.

She was also in the hospital during grandson Abhishek's wedding with Aishwarya in April this year.
