The 33-year-old is accused of targetting females between the ages of 14 and 27 from November 2002 to March 2007, according to court documents unsealed in Los Angeles on Friday.
Jon, who was charged on March 13, is being held without bail. He faces charges that include rape, lewd acts upon a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, sexual battery by restraint and attempted forcible oral copulation.
He is accused of setting up a fledgling design business and using it to lure the women to Los Angeles, reported the local television KCBS.
Anthony Brooklier, Jon's attorney, said the accusers had worked together to make the same accusations.
"We think that there was collusion," the defense attorney said about the alleged victims.
Jon is being held without bail and is set to be arranged October 25 at a Los Angeles courthouse.
Brooklier said some of the alleged victims socialized and worked with Jon after the accusations surfaced.
"Why didn't they call police?" he said. Brooklier said he plans to ask for bail for Jon at the next court hearing.
"He wants out. We think he should be out," Brooklier said.
Beverly Hills police launched an investigation in March after a woman reported she had been sexually assaulted by Jon at his Beverly Hills apartment.
Jon is also under investigation in Dallas, Houston, New York and Massachusetts, and could face life in prison if convicted of the charges in the indictment.
Jon has won numerous fashion awards, including a 2002 People's Choice for "Best New Designer" and a 2002-03 Fashion Week of the Americas "International New Star". He was a profiled designer on the TV show, "America's Next Top Model", in 2003.
Newsweek once described him as a "party boy in Miami in the 1990s, who as a Parsons-trained designer launched his first line at New York Fashion Week in 1999 and has gone on to dress the likes of Paris Hilton".
