Helsinki, September 13: Even before Bollywood travels to the home of Santa Claus next summer for shoots, a young Finnish fan has launched a blog on India's film industry.

Twenty-something Anu Heikola welcomes Bollywood fans on her MSN blog in Finnish with a namaste, dressed in a mauve zari sari and sporting a silver tika. Anu has even changed her name to Anuradha to show her love for Intia (India in Finnish) and of course the famous Khan brigade.

When Sanjay Dutt was given a jail term in the Mumbai blasts case, Anu was quick to update Finnish fans. She was also relieved when Munnabhai got interim bail.

Anu, who is looking forward to her fifth trip to India, declares on her blog: "Read about my family and my happy and sad moments here. You can read about Bollywood too. I write in Finnish, but you can ask me questions in English."

Her colourful blog shows Shahrukh Khan working on a laptop, Madhuri Dixit prancing around a tree and Kareena Kapoor sizzling in a red dress.

There are several sub-sections on Shahrukh, Kareena, Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta, Kajol, Abhishek Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty, Urmila Matondkar, Madhuri Dixit, Akshay Khanna, Vivek Oberoi, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Manisha Koirala.

Anu updates the blog every day by splashing new pictures. She describes Madhuri as "one of the greatest", Urmila as "the sweetest" and Shahrukh as her "computer friend".

The names of Bollywood films -- Dil to Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kuch Na Kaho -- are used as section heads on the Finnish blog.

Anu, who travelled to India for the first time about a decade ago, admits she does not understand Hindi. Mann, the Aamir Khan-Manisha Koirala starrer, was the first Indian movie she watched. She fell in love with the song and dance sequences and got addicted to Hindi films.

She started buying Hindi movies thereon, as the screening of Hindi movies in theatres is a rarity in Finland.

Her favourite movies seem to be all Shahrukh-starrers -- Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Don, Devdas, Pardes, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Veer Zaara and Main Hoon Na. Salman Khan's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam is another favourite.

So why Bollywood films? She explains on the blog: "Bollywood films are so romantic. In Finland, films that were made between 1939 and 1950 were romantic. There was music and dance then. I don't like the Finnish films they make now."

From the new crop of actors, she thinks Kareena and Priyanka Chopra are promising.

Her blog is not just about Bollywood, but also India.

She provides links to various shopping websites in India. Recently, there was a special section on sari/salwar/ Indian dresses.

The section titled Ma-Beti Saris explained the difference between a sari and a lengha, and how to make a butterfly pallu.
