Hyderabad, October 12: Andhra Pradesh Government ordered a CBI inquiry into the communal violence, including the death of six members of a family whose house was set on fire today, in Adilabad district.

A CBI inquiry would be ordered into the incidents of communal clashes in Bhainsa town during the immersion procession of Goddess Durga idol and death of six persons of a family whose house was set on fire at Watoli village, Home Minister K Jana Reddy announced after visiting the violence-hit areas.

Three persons were killed and others injured during clashes between two groups last Friday and six persons, including three children of a family, were burnt to death at Watoli village when their house caught fire in the wee hours.

While curfew continued in Bhainsa, prohibitory orders have been imposed in Nirmal and Adilabad towns as precautionary measures, officials said.

Additional forces have been deployed in Bhainsa to maintain communal harmony and tranquility, they said.

The Home Minister, along with the DGP, visited Bhainsa town and Watoli village.

Earlier, Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) President and MP Asaduddin Owaisi, who also visited the village, demanded a CBI inquiry into Bhainsa clashes and Watoli incident.

Demanding compensation for those who lost their property in the clashes, the MIM leader alleged Hindu fundamentalist groups were behind the incidents.

Communal Violence by Dr.G.S.Shankar on 13 Oct 2008

Juidicial enquiry is not a bad idea as long as they are not partial. well our good old anti-Hindu Samuel as Chief Minister, I doubt if they will be fair. Chief minister Samuel is famous for giving Hindu money for his Christian piligrims to Jerusalem and before than Congress led Central government doing that for Haj. Well if they give their personal money, I applaud it but they are giving Hindu tax payers money to Christian and Muslim piligrims, did they ever think some help to Poor Hindu piligrims to various disant places. No. Secularism in India applies to Hindus. Muslims do not have to accept common law. If there are riots , cause is Hindus. It does not matter with all this Fatwahs, their refusal to ID cards for elections and causing obstructionist tactics at every step in the name of religion. They applaud the victory of Pakistan, do not follow common civil code, no respect for Vande Mataram, support Taleban and AL quaida and stop Hindu processions in their streets and if Hindus rea

Hypocritical statement? by Dr. Gollapudi on 12 Nov 2008

What would you know Dr. Shankar about the pride of the Hindu people? You are basically a poser angrily rattling your comments here. Who knows you might be having relations with women who are christians and muslims. In my experience I have met many people like you who claim Hindu pride and patriotism but turn out to be pushovers who are merely and simply using their hindu pride as a cover for actually wanting to engage in relations with their lighter skinned partners. You are no true Hindu , you are just trying to pose as if you're important, wheras in actuality you might be a feeble old man. Leave the complaints to those who matter like the newer generation of Indian citizens and stay out of our affairs.

Who are the victims in the clashes? I think the victims are hindus, otherwise media would have highlighted it if victims are non-hindus.
