Washington Angelina Jolie gave Brad Pitt, who was walking with the help of a cane, a bit of a self-esteem boost as they arrived at a Globes after party, saying, “You're prettier than me.”

Although both Jolie, 36, and partner Pitt, 48, were nominated, they left Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards empty handed.

Jolie’s ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey ‘didn’t nab the Best Foreign Language Film globe, and ‘Moneyball’ star Pitt lost to pal George Clooney in the Best Actor, Drama category, Us magazine reported.

Jolie, looked spectacular in satin one-shoulder Atelier Versace gown, bright red lipstick and a dramatic updo hairstyle.

Pitt looked dashing as always in a Salvatore Ferragamo three-piece tuxedo.
