Pitt is said to have been comforting her after she was taken ill. However the sight was enough to throw Angelina into a jealous rage and she allegedly slapped her partner across the face and immediately fired the nanny, the ‘Daily mail’ said quoting the ‘Star’ magazine.
A source is quoted as saying, "She got right in Brad's face, screaming at the top of her lungs, and told the nanny to get out of her house and never come back. The argument woke up the sleeping twins, who began to cry."
"As Brad tried to console both the twins and the nanny, Angie just snapped - and slapped! - hitting him right across the face," the source added.
The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button star was reportedly left 'stunned' by the act and stormed out of the couple's home and went for a four hour motorbike ride to calm down.
It's alleged the argument took plays in the days after they appeared together at the Academy Awards.
However, the pair's representative have so far not responded to the reports.

You know,Angelina and Brad is first in this world Don't forget this idea
that saying what goes around comes around, she wasnt' expectign him to cheat even to cheated while he was married. now i am thinking she is having kids so she can tie him to herself, but once a cheater always a cheater and that goes for both of them, she;s broken a few homes herself and now hers might get broken so saaadd. not!
Ms angelina should ask why Brad pitt did what he did.Its very simple . Finally what does a man want? he only wants spread his seeds.Slapping him in public is not going to change the basic nature of a man even if he is married to the most beautiful.
Think Brad needs to leave this crazy woman, before she kills him, she deserve all the bad that she gets, she has and is no good-he deserves alot better than her.
Guys should remember that wives will get upset if they see a husband, even consoling another female, let alone comforting her. In fact some wives also get upset seeing a man comfort his own sister too. No wonder Jolie was angry. What was Brad trying to do ? Even if the nanny was ill, he should have had the sense to just talk to her instead of "feeling" around. If he wanted to "comfort" her with his hands, he should at least have waited till Jolie was not around.
Jolie isn't Brad's wife thank you, she is merely a witch and deserves him to leave her too
