"Anna is not going to campaign. He has been advised by doctors not to undertake fast or travel as he needs total rest," she told reporters after visiting the 74-year-old activist, who is undergoing treatment for bronchitis at Sancheti Hospital here since December 31.
Bedi said Hazare's condition was "good" but he needed total hospital care and rest as per medical advice to avoid any relapse.
She said Hazare's health is "really important" for them and he could not be exposed to sudden changes in temperature.
The former IPS officer said she would be conveying the anti-graft crusader's "message" to the Core Group of Team Anna, which would meet on Saturday to chalk out the future course of action.
Calling off his fast and other agitations ahead of schedule for a strong Lokpal Bill, Hazare had announced that he will tour five states going for polls and campaign against Congress for failing to bring a strong Lokpal.
Hazare's hospitalisation on December 31 and advice by doctors forced him not to undertake the proposed campaign in
Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur which are going to polls from January 28 to March 3.
Prominent Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal, who had called upon Anna this week, had then said campaigning by Hazare entirely depended on his health condition and advice by doctors treating him.
Meanwhile, Dr Parag Sancheti of Sancheti Hospital said Hazare was progressing well but needed complete rest for a month and a decision on his discharge would be taken on Sunday.

ANNA not having any party,he is try to bring a corruption free India,our politicians do not allow it because they are all corrupt.What a fate of Indian public they never get out of the jaw of our corrupt politicians.
No one would have expected that Anna's true colour would get exposed so quickly.Congress has done an excellent job in exposing this self appointed saviour of the country who wants to re establish the proxy ruling privilage to the meritorious lot.

Anna and his teams campaign is not against corruption but against congress. In the 4 of the 5 states going to polls are ruled by non-congress govt which are more corrupt than the earlier congress govts and therefore, it is nataural that anti-incumbacy work and people reward congress well in the upcoming elections. If Anna plunges into campaign, he will be asked by the Media and press why they are not campaigning againt the the present State govt which are badly corrupt, he and his team have nothing to answer. The Anna and teams silence on corruption or corrupt practices of BJP is making people believe that he is B Team of BJP
Finally Team-Anna has got the loud and clear message that corruption is a universal political game in Indian politics and campaigning against only the Congress doesn't make sense, or it betrays an ulterior political motive. And that the public is now seeing it as such. Anna's health problem has come as face saver for them. Anyway, it would be better for them to engage more meaningfully with the political class and get the best possible deal, rather than insist only on their own draft and blame only the Congress. I think Team Anna has realized from the mistake they made in Hissar. Though they had their way of belittling the Congress, their movement and more so their personal image also took a bashing. Anna is fighting for a great cause and needless to say that majority of the nation supports him. I hope they restrict themselves to their demand for a strong Lokpal. What they can do at the same time is to make aware the people the manner in which the Govt has played dirty, gone back on its words and deceived the nation. That itself will have a bearing on their poll prospects.
Kiran Bedi has failed. Arvind Kejrival has failed. Anna has realised what his close confidantes were really up to! So, without Anna, Kiran and Arvind don't want to fight corruption, eh? Anna has realised how the BJP has turned out be treacheous.
I am 77 years old Indian who has been a Permanent Resident of New Zealand (corruption free country) since 1975.While living in India; I have never paid any bribe to any person to get any job done there. IN 2005, I BOUGHT A FLAT IN PARSVNATH ESTATE IN GREATER NOIDA AND FOR GETTING IT REGISTERED, I PAID NO BRIBE ALTHOUGH I HAD TO WASTE TIME TO VISIT THE OFFICES A COUPLE OF TIMES. I MADE IT QUITE CLEAR (VERY CALMLY) TO THE OFFICERS THAT I WILL NEVER PAY BRIBE TO SAVE ANY HASSLES TO ME. IT WORKED FOR ME AND I AM SURE THAT THIS ASPECT OF AWARENESS IS ALSO NEEDED TO ROOT OUT THIS MENACE OF CORRUPTION. Please challenge yourself, how much you contribute to the spread of this disease in your daily life. Politicians are elected by voters. Dear Mr Duggal, I agree with what you say and what you did that is refusing to offer a bribe. I suppose you have all the time at this age of 77 to make numerous trips to Govt offices. Everyone is not like you. People pay bribes because they they dont have that time, and those who demand bribes very well know it. They blackmail people and the people pay to save their time, and go to work.
Having weighed all pros and cons of campaigning - Anna team has taken wise decision - because it would have ramifications in the Indian politics which Anna team would have been blamed or held responsible for the outcome of polls - ESPECIALY U.P.
What prevents the rest of Team Anna campaigning against corruption in the poll bound states ? Is it the realisation that feathered friends are now in the same coop as those they castigated ? Or a diktat from some higher command to lay off because the corruption tag was coming home to roost and the Anna hypocricy would be exposed.
