Another call canter employee raped, murdered in Pune

Pune, November 3: Body of a 21-year-old call center employee with injury marks suggesting rape, was found at a farm in Talegaon Dabhade near here, police said on Saturday.

Two persons - a driver and his accomplice - have been arrested in this connection, they said.

The body of the girl, who is yet to be identified, was recovered from a paddy field at Gaunje village near Talegaon about 50 kms from her, police said adding that the murder could have been committed two days back.

Though a medical report on confirmation of rape was still awaited but the circumstances and the clothes on the victim's body pointed to sexual assault and investigations were on, a police added.
