New Delhi Forget the sizzling chemistry between Bipasha-John or Kareena-Saif as the new air on the block, Anupam Kher-Boman Irani is set to cast magic with their rib-tickling camaraderie in upcoming film 'Perfect Mismatch'.

"The chemistry definitely works. It is actually the war of egos between the two characters. While I am playing a traditional Gujarati Mr Patel, Kher is playing over the top 'Mr Bhalla' whom I find obnoxious," Irani said.

The movie stars actress Nandana Sen and marks the debut of actor Anubhav Anand but it is the camaraderie between the celebrated actors Irani and Kher, who are back on screen after their last laugh riot 'Khosla Ka Ghosla', to look out for.

"Perfect Mismatch" revolves around Aman (Anubhav Anand) and Neha (Nandana Sen) who fall in love. Everything is going in their favour until it is the time for families to meet.

All hell breaks loose when hyper-active Mr Bhalla (Aman's uncle) meets the rigidly-conventional Mr Patel (Nandana's father). Naturally they lock horns and vehemently oppose this match which leads to a series of comic events.

"The best part about the chemistry between the two characters is that one is incomplete without another. You would not be able to enjoy one without the other," Irani said.

Boman said that the comfort that they shared onscreen is the result of the deep friendship that they share in real

life.

"Our friendship actually blossomed during the making Of 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'. We still meet over coffee and remember the great time we spent together while shooting," the actor said.

Boman has played the character of disapproving father in many of films like 'Munnabhai MBBS', 'Heyy Baby', 'Veer Zara' but the actor says that his role of Mr Patel is completely different.

"I like the boy for my daughter in this film. But I disapprove the father (Kher). I hate him," the actor said.

Directed by Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad, the movie is all set to release on July 24.

The adman-turned-actor would be seen in a number of films this year including 'Kaun Bola', 'Banda Ye Bindaas Hai', 'Fruit and Nuts' and Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor starrer, 'Three Idiots', but one film he is looking forward to is Shyam Benegal's 'Well Done Abba' where he plays the protagonist.

"Any actor would love to work with Shyam Benegal. I was actually waiting when will he give me call. And when he did for call me for 'Well Done Abba' he said that he was looking for a right project for me," the actor said.

'Well Done Abba', which also stars Minnisha Lamba and Sameer Dattani is a light hearted comedy with a serious issue.

The film is inspired by two short stories 'Narsaiyyan Ki Bavdi' by Jeelani Bano and 'Phulwa Ka Pul' by Sanjeev.
