Attacking Amitabh is stupidity: Bal Thackeray

Mumbai, February 6: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray came out in defence of Amitabh Bachchan, dismissing as ‘stupidity’ the attack on the actor by his estranged nephew Raj Thackeray heading a splinter outfit Sena outfit.

"The allegations are nothing but stupidity", Thackeray said in a statement, deriding the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief's allegation that Bachchan always gave priority to Uttar Pradesh over Maharashtra, sparking attacks on North Indians in the city and some parts of the state.

"Amitabh is Amitabh. He should ignore such allegations", 82-year-old Thackeray said.

"Amitabh is a family friend. The friendship goes back 40 years during which it has not ever diminished," Thackeray said.

Terming Bachchan as a global superstar who is respected all over the world, the Sena supremo said the actor has always expressed his gratitude to Mumbai and the people for giving him fame.

Samajwadi Party leader and Bachchan's family friend Amar Singh had recently sought to attribute Raj Thackeray's tirade against Bachchan to his being jealous of the star attending an album release fucntion of Aditya, son of Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray.

Raj parted ways with Shiv Sena in 2005, following differences with Uddhav and formed MNS in 2006.

the knowledge and education we impart to ours childrens in schools and colleges are responsible for the caste, communal and regional hate and divide. that is why with spread of education politicians like vpsingh, mulayam, laluprasad, mayawati, ramvilash, jaylalitha, karunanidhi, chandrababu, balashaheb and sonia gandhi use to became all too important for theirs blind supporters that they use to get ready to kill others and to immolate self for theirs respective leaders. not only this but these leaders are being propgetted as the flag bearers of social justice, icon of secular polity, and symbol of modern polity. infact for many intellectuals and politicians cast and, regional divideis must for the existence of modern secular fabric of indian constitution. that is why not only in maharastra but in nearly every state of india people are getting descriminated in the name of theirs root, language, faith, and caste. it is happening for long in assam, bengal, jammu and kashamir, in eastern states and in nearly every southern states for long years but govt.of india and state govts are not able to control it . as due to theirs own perception and thought this is not bad, so who is the real culprit? infact and indeed we indians are ignorant people, we do not know ours root, history, society, culture, language, epics and all other unique achievements that is why we are confused people and that is why we are blindly following the exposition of west even today.

Attacking Amitav is attacking the heart and soul of India. We all Indians(except Raj Thakrey) love Amitav from the core of our heart. No body can replace him.
