Warner made everybody sit up and notice with his high octane 43-ball 89 for Australia that bamboozled South Africa in the international Twenty20 match on Sunday. "I'd add him to the one-day squad immediately," Warne said.

"What we saw last night was a player who can take the game away from the opposition in a handful of overs. I know he has played only once but you can see he has that capacity. He's an exciting prospect and for the public it's fabulous to see someone like that. I'd rush him straight into the one-day squad for sure," he was quoted as saying in 'The Daily Telegraph'.

"He's a different sort of player; he just goes for it, full stop. Let him play. He's an entertainer and a talent."
