Dharamshala, January 10 Even as Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has warned against wasteful expenditure, Thursday's newspapers carried advertisements in several newspapers issued by the district administration, temple trusts headed by the Deputy Commissioner and the people of Kangra district, welcoming the Chief Minister and his ministerial colleagues. The advertisement also carries photographs of the entire ministry.

Despite efforts, Kangra Deputy Commissioner Ashwani Kapoor could not be contacted for his comments.

Notably, the Chief Minister has asked not to indulge in wasteful expenditure and has directed that no bouquets, garlands and such other things be brought to welcome him. The Chief Minister was of the view that this would help minimise wasteful expenditure and public money could be saved for use on developmental works.
