Pune BSA Group (until recently known as Sai Industrial Group), a pioneer in the support services and a business partner of prime corporate companies is now associated with Hubert Ebner Verlags GmbH, Austria through their joint venture company HE India Pvt Ltd. HE has now its presence in Pune through their associate BSA Group.

The Group is conducting post licence drivers' training. They teach four-wheeler drivers defensive driving and road safety. HE has over 30 years experience in developing and conducting the training programs and have been pioneers in the development of inter-active learning system. They are the market leaders and prominent in the countries like Austria and Germany, stated a press release.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Balasaheb Kadam, CMD of BSA Group and .Susanne Ebner, managing director of HE, recently. “This type of program is imperative for Pune since the situation we see on our roads is very complex and diverse road user behavior where different type of vehicles and other road users have to share the road with equal rights. Our roads are busy with cars, trucks, buses, cycles, Scooters, motor cycles, autorikshaws, and pedestrians. Good example of 'survival of fittest' on the roads. Jumping red lights, violating the rules, ignoring road signs, speeding on yellow lights, Fatal & nonfatal accidents and injuring innocents are routine,” said Kadam. The contents of the program cover road signals, road signs and road markings, sharing the road with other road users and how to perceive the hazard on the road, stress and fatigue and the effect of alcohol on driving. The course includes both first-aid treatment and basic vehicle care and preventive maintenance, soft skills. These programs are half-day, one-day and two-days, according the module that would be selected. The participants will undergo a pre-test and a post-test and the successful participants will get a “Smart Card.”

Madhav Kulkarni, director, corporate affairs and business development said that this program will help all the executives and staff of corporate companies and they may sponsor them under corporate social responsibilities.
