“The complaint book of the BSNL broadband services speaks the truth. There are not many complaints registered in the book just because the attendants never take the call,” sources in BSNL said.
BSNL provides broadband connections to more than 22,000 people in the city. Most of the customers say the services are poor and executives unreachable in case of a problem. The service is available from 9 am to 8 pm and those facing problem anytime after that are left in the lurch.
“This simply aggravates the problem. The customer care service is just pathetic,” said Gaurav, a customer.
Senior BSNL officials claimed hassled customers have not approached them and the customer service was running perfectly. “Even we use the service and get through every time we call. I don’t understand why people face problems,” said N K Sharma, GM (Telecom).

May be to Answer Mr. N K Sharma(Telecom) .People face problem with the following reasons1. No Proper channel to escalate2. No information on how and where to approach with problems.3. Commnunication Gap4. Its very true,bsnl has a totally bad service and the customer care is always busy.Being a dataone user is tough but since the package comes cheap its the reason people prefer dataone.Anyway if you're the guy who falls into the pit then don't expect bsnl to help you, but if you're ready to pay a few bucks more then airtel or tataindicom broadband is the best to go for !!!
Sir: Complaints are never taken seriously and hence refused to be attended. Although there is MIS provision to monitor weekly and monthly faults registered and resolved, the system is just for the namesake. Complaints are not noted, wrong complaints are noted, nobody attends the complaints, complaints are closed without resolving the complaints, docket numbers are refused is common in BSNL. There is no will to serve the customers and this will is lacking from the top i.e. BSNL Corporate Office.On the contrary, there was a reported scam of employing contract labour for fault repair. More employees were shown than actually worked. This way BSNL Nagpur unit cheated GOI and engineers earned illegal income. The kids of this employees must have taken good education from this bribe income. These educated kids will in turn take bribe and thus bribe connectivity will be maintained. Thus the punchline of BSNL should be Corrupting India, any doubt Mr. CMD. ~ Avinash Murkute
