Chandigarh, March 2 The stage is set for the event of the year, when bigwigs of Punjab politics clash in a charity cricket match for the welfare of disabled and try to outdo each other in sporting skills rather than political rhetoric and mudslinging. Being organised by the Para Olympic Committee of Punjab, the twenty-20 match will be played between ruling SAD-BJP alliance team “Badal XI” and Congress team “Bhattal XI” on March 13 at PCA stadium, Mohali.

Comedian and actor Bhagwant Mann and cricketer-turned MP Navjot Singh Sidhu would be the commentators. Mann said he is looking forward to the event to comment upon bigwigs such as SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal, Bikramjit Singh Majithia and Parminder Dhindsa and the Congress’ Rana Sodhi, Kewal Dhillon, Sukhpal Khaira, Harmohinder Jassi and Charanjit Channy. The event would include a cultural show featuring Pammi Bai, besides a comic presentation by Bhagwant Mann, Jaspal Bhatti and Navjot Sidhu.
