Mumbai Filmmaker Vivek Sharma has signed megastar Amitabh Bachchan for his first production "Buddham Sharanam Gachchaami" which will go on floors next year.

"The film will present the issue of violence and peace in a very different manner. It's an international concept which will feature huge stars apart from Bachchan. I will start the pre-production work in September-October this year and the film will go on floors in the first half of 2010," Vivek, who has set up his own production house "Film Zone" told reporters here today.

He said that he was keen on signing on new directors to make movies for his production house. "We will make television content, films and advertisements, he added.

The filmmaker's association with the Big B, which started with his directorial debut "Bhootnath" has inspired him to take to blogging on a popular website.

"It's Bachchan who inspired me to write a blog. He started blogging during the making of 'Bhootnath'. It is interesting to express yourself and connect with people on the blog. Bigadda is also very qualitative," he added.

Vivek said that he started blogging since December six, 2008. "I am sharing my experiences, inspirations, trends in filmmaking, inviting aspiring actors to get in touch with me.

I hope to get good fresh actors whom I can cast in my forthcoming films," he added.

Vivek is currently in the process of wrapping up "Kal Kisne Dekha hai" featuring Jackie Bhagnani and Vaishali Desai.

Jackie is the son of producer Vashu Bhagnani and Vaishali is the granddaughter of late Manmohan Desai.

"Newcomers are available throughout and you can mould them as per the characters. Even Amitabh Bachchan approaches all his films like a newcomer. He is dedicated, committed and enthusiastic," Vivek said.

Jackie plays Nihal Singh in "Kal Kisne Dekha Hai" who can see the future. "It is an unusual college campus love story," he added.

Vivek said that the film will release in the first week of April.

Asthavinayak telefilms's "Dil Can fly idhar udhar," and a film each by Tips and T-series will go on floors after April, he added.
