‘Big, fat Punjabi weddings bring us to Ludhiana’

Ludhiana, July 19 A three-day wedding exhibition, “Celebrating Vivaha 2008” was launched today at the Majestic Park Plaza. Participants have come from all across the state as well as from other cities including Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore. 

“With the exhibition, I have endeavoured to redefine the concept of weddings and wedding exhibitions in India. This is our third year in Ludhiana and visitors come here from all across the state. Looking at the potential of Punjabi weddings, we come here every year and generate business worth crores,” said Tarun Sarda, CEO of the wedding exhibition.

This year’s participants include: Dar-e-Aab-A House of Kashmiri Embroidery; Christian Geen; Vinayak by Asha Gupta; Suparna Malik; Charon Diamond Jewellery Pvt Ltd; Essvee Jewels by Punjab Jewellers; Bobby Creations by Sehgal Jewellers; Whites of London; Raasleela by Rakhi & Tarak; Unifrutti; Raniwala Jewellers, Jaipur; Jewelz by Daizy; VU Technologies; Radhika Nagpal; She Home-The Fine Linen Company; Astro Vision-Astrology by Savita Jain; Bellezza Design by Saurabh Khandelwal; Diamond Constellation by Priti & Punam; Kaya Skin Clinic; Ziva Jewellery Mumbai; The Gem Optician; Jusra Jewels-Jaipur; Villazzo-Home and Harmony; Vikram Phadnis; Gauri (A Unit of Prasadam Jewels Jaipur); Priyanjali Jewellers; Impressions Artware; D’mart Exclusif; and Prizm by Patriot International. Various brands in home luxury including Lladró, Villeroy & Boch, Harnn, Christofle and Versace can also be seen in the wedding exhibition.
