New Delhi Amid seat-sharing talks between BJP and JD-U in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar hinted on Saturday that an agreement is likely after the Holi festival, which falls on March 11.

"We have held first round of talks. No final decision has been taken as yet," said Kumar, whose party recently raised the seat demand to 26 from 24 Lok Sabha seats it had earlier contested in 2004 Lok Sabha elections.

He added that the picture on seat sharing would be clear after Holi.

Kumar was talking to reporters after meeting JD-U president and NDA's acting convener Sharad Yadav here. Kumar will also meet senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley soon to discuss the seat-sharing issue.

Kumar also sought to skirt the issue of more seat demands by JD-U saying, "I am not authorized to talk on it."

Earlier JDU president in Bihar, Rajeev Ranjan Singh had said in Patna that his party has decided to bring down its demand of 28 seats to 26 seats after consultations with senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley. He had also said that names of the contestants would be announced in a day or two.
