London British filmmaker Danny Boyle may have earned critical acclaim worldwide for his film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ but it seems that the film could not particularly impress his father who dozed off during the screening.

The 88-year-old Patrick Boyle has revealed that "Slumdog..." was not his favourite movie among Danny's films.

The award-winning director's father said that the highly acknowledged story of a Mumbai slum-dweller was not the best work of Danny Boyle.

"(Slumdog Millionaire) is great - but definitely not my favourite. That is Shallow Grave. It has always stuck in my mind because it was his first," he told 'The Sun', saying he preferred Boyle's debut film "Shallow Grave" in 1995 over "Slumdog Millionaire".

But Patrick admitted that he will have to watch the movie again, after he dozed off during the screening of the film in a local cinema hall.

"I've seen Slumdog Millionaire - but I think I missed a couple of parts so I wouldn't mind seeing it again," he said.
