London Paris Hilton seems to have a very poor knowledge about UK as she has no idea about the Prime Minister of the country.

The socialite who is currently in UK to host her new reality television show 'Britain's Best Friend' on ITV2 stammered when quizzed who the Prime Minister of Britain? "It's Gordon...Gordon Ramsay?" the 27-year-old blonde said on the show.

Later Hilton correctly named Gordon Brown as the Prime Minister and said that the mix up was due to the fact that she had eaten at Ramsay's restaurant recently.

Earlier this month Hilton said that people assumed she was a dumb because of the way she was portrayed on reality series 'The Simple Life', in which she attempted to live like an average US citizen.

She also added that she pretended to be dumb just for the cameras.

Hilton said there was more to her personality than her "extensive wardrobe and multi million pound fortune".

The heiress to the Hilton chain of hotels has been shooting new ITV2 show 'Britain's Best Friend' over the past few months.

In the series, 12 people have to persuade Hilton that they should be her closest friend in the UK.

The star has also said she is happy being single after split with her rocker boyfriend Benji Madden.

Hilton who reportedly has a soft corner for newly single Prince Harry said that she would not go for him because she liked his former girlfriend Chelsy Davy too much.
