Dubai New Zealand's Chris Broad was appointed match referee for India's one-day series against Sri Lanka starting later this month.

Apart from Broad, South African Brian Jerling has been named as the on-field umpire. Jerling will stand in all the five matches along with local appointments, the ICC said in a statement.

The five-match series between India and Sri Lanka will get underway in Dambulla on January 28. Meanwhile, Sri Lankan Roshan Mahanama will oversee the five ODIs between Australia and New Zealand starting February 1.

Controversial West Indian Steve Bucknor will stand in all five matches with local appointments.
