Karat's remark on George Bush is a 24-Karat remark. Bush has the inherited bad habit of making loose comments against leaders(living and dead) of other countries. This is disrespectful to the office of President of a democracy. If he perceives India as hostile, he will not hesitate to make such comments on our leaders also. We may well recall the fantastic remark on "Bushes and Quayles" made by one of our distinguished central ministers years back at the Rio Environmental Summit.

The communists were never known for statesmanship or diplomacy. Even so, calling an elected leader of a robust democracy as "fool" exposes their scant disregard for decency and decorum. It is a well-documented fact that Stalin was a brutal dictator whose cruelty was matched only by that of Hitler's. No communist country claims a track record for human rights and liberty for free speech. Yet, to our Indian communist parties, people like Stalin and Lenin are the ideal leaders. A fool can not be a President of the most powerful nation of the world. I this Mr. Karat shud understand this.
