Mumbai, January 18: A businessman accused of molesting two cabin crew members on a GoAir flight was deplaned in Mumbai and a police complaint filed against him, CISF sources said on Friday.

Prakash Ved, who hails from Jaipur, was off-loaded on Thursday from Mumbai-Delhi flight G8-111 of the private airline.

He was booked by the police on charges of molestation, criminal intimidation and indecent behaviour, Central Industrial Security Force sources said.

The matter was reported to the airport’s ground authorities and security personnel escorted him out of the flight.

“Police escorted him out of the flight, and a complaint was lodged by the airline,” CISF Commandant Sanjay Prakash said.

Meanwhile, a GoAir’s spokesperson said, “a passenger on GoAir flight G8-111 started abusing our flight crew on board and misbehaved with two of our female cabin crew members. As a part of our employee protection policy, the passenger was off-loaded."

Its always refreshing to know that such passengers are dealt with severely. Kudos to the management of GO AIR and CISF who took quick action against Mr Ved Prakash.
