CBI raids Hiranandani Group premises

Mumbai, April 8: Sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday conducted raids on the premises of noted builders Hiranandani brothers who have been accused of evading tax on Employees Provident Fund.

A senior CBI officer said: "we have conducted raids on (premises of) Hiranandani brothers on charges of EPF fund evasion by underqouting the number of actual employees."

The raids have been conducted at eight places belonging to Hiranandani brothers in the city, sources said.
