At present, the college holds its classes at Dinbandhu Andrews College. The construction of the proposed building of the college had begun in 2001.

K K Das college has 750 students in the commerce stream. It will start arts and science streams, and honours courses in English, Mathematics, Bengali, History from April this year.

“I have come to know that the college is starting a course on food and nutrition, I would advice if the college can start a course on hospitality management as well,” he said.
