Mumbai Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor will dance to the tune of popular Tanglish song 'Kolaveri Di' and other southern chartbusters at an award ceremony in Mumbai.

Besides 'Kolaveri Di', Kareena would perform on tracks like 'Nakka Mukka' (Kadhalil Vizhundhen). This track was included in recently-released Hindi movie 'The Dirty Picture' and was filmed on Vidya Balan.

Her performance list also includes 'Ringa Ringa' from Telugu film 'Arya 2'. This song was re-tuned with Hindi lyrics for the Salman Khan-starrer 'Ready', a remake of the 2008 Telugu film of the same name. In the Hindi version of the song, 'Ringa Ringa' was replaced with 'Dhinka Chika'.

'Kolaveri Di', sung by southern star Dhanush and released late last year, has become a rage across the country.

"No other actress has attempted an act with 'Kolaveri Di' at an award show. It is for the first time that Kareena will perform to such a mix of songs and she is putting in a lot of hard work for her performance," sources said.

The 31-year-old glamorous actor will perform during the seventh edition of Apasara Awards.
