Letting go
Smriti Irani’s ambitious show Virrudh has met with an untimely death, and the person who is most affected with the show going off air is Karan Mehra, who plays her brother Vedant in the show. “I was recognised as Vedant by people of all ages,” he says. Apart from his newfound fame, he will miss playing cricket with children who visited the cast and crew on the sets.
Missing mush
The love story of Milind (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Prachi (Prachi Bohra) is adding to the high TRPs of Star Plus’ Kayamath. The loved-up couple has managed to draw some fans too. Recently, production house Balaji Telefilms was planning a twist in the tale to add to the drama—by showing the duo’s marriage in ruins through tragic turn of events. However, there was little progress in the new track since the channel had to give in to the demands of fans who wouldn’t accept a tragic end of the love story. Mush triumphs.
