Art attack

DJ Mukul Deora made his debut as a professional artist on Thursday at Ashish Balram Nagpal Art Gallery with the preview of his art installation The Soft Metronome, a limited edition collection of 21 pieces of silver sculptures made out of silver. Mukul’s installation is a bed, which is a form of art to signify the various aspects of one’s existence.

The preview was attended by the musician’s relatives, friends and other artists. His mother, socialite Hema Deora, came with her MP brother Milind Deora, who looked quite the politician in khadi. Models Binal Trivedi and Bhawana Sharma were socialising, while restaurateur Riyaaz Amlani was also there to cheer the young gun.

Showstopper Artists Apnavi Thakkar, Jenny Bhatt and Bose Krishnamachari were seen appreciating the debutant’s work.
