It's stupid people make themselves as judge and pass strictures. We do not have firsthand knowledge of both teacher & student. People don't seem to bother if they have the information, expertise to come to conclusion. Average indians seem to have nothing to do with reason, clarity, sound judgement etc. I think similar unfortunate incidents do happen mainly because our system is filled with half-cooked fellows.
The name of teacher was Uma Maheswari and she was teaching science and hindi. The media is so cowardice, it does not want to mention the name of the murderer. His name is stated to be Irfan who had come to the class with a dagger after challenging his parents that he will teach the teacher a lesson. That is how a tamil daily has reported. But English dailies are keepers of our secular values and they did not want to disclose the name of the merderer as otherwise they will lose their secular image.
dear editor. The news isdistrssing,What it reveals is that Mohamme Irafns dmestic atmosphere is violent and this learning has made him also with violent natyre but the teachers must also study the nature of their students because as time pass even the students do not maintain any RESPECT towatds their teachers Al students teachers relations shall have be coded for guidence to prevent sucj atricities in schools/colleges dated Thursday Fenruary 09th 2012 Time 1920 hrs ist
It is shocking to hear news of this kind happening in our country, though students are often spotted with guns in the west.Children today find it hard to tolerate advice of any kind.It is the duty of parents, to keep a close watch on the mental behaviour of the child from an early age , despite being more particular on acedemic records. This barbaric act shows the vulnerability of young generation .
Put this student behind bars for next 30 years. NO MERCY SHOULD BE SHOWN. INTERNET and TV is the reason for all these nonsense. Fine their parents 50 LAKH rupee. Court should rule that this teacher's kid should be taken care of that killer-boy's parent.
Sir, A class 9 student is reported to have murdered his teacher in Chennai in the school premises. It is really shocking. This incident has sent shock waves among the student, parent and the teaching fraternity. This spine chilling act of the boy is atrocious and needs to be condemned. He has set a dangerous precedent. He deserves a severe punishment for his inhuman act. Secondly our education system which is mark and job oriented should be transformed into humanity oriented.
It is shocking and sad to see the news and even though action will be taken by the Police and the Management the authorities should ensure that proper checking and metal detector to be used. Strict guidelines for dos and donts to be clearly fixed in the notice board and erring students to be warned.Parents to be called and guide them also.No body should take law into their hands. What provoked him to do this henious act is also tobe probed.
It's a crime, without question. But then, behind such an act, there is without doubt a mind that has likely held back a long history of abuse. As the boy is likely of teen age, where his mind is undergoing big changes he may not be conscious of, one must account for that abuse as well before arriving at a suitable punishment.
