Civil servant files complaint against IAS husband

Jaipur, October 26: A Gujarat cadre IAS officer has filed a complaint against her husband, also a civil servant, alleging dowry harassment and torture.

Shalini Agarwal of Jaipur filed a complaint on September 24 in Gandhinagar Mahila police station (south) against her husband Rahul Gupta, with whom she tied knot in 2005. In her complaint, she alleged dowry harassment by Gupta, investigating officer Kusum Lata told PTI.

A police team was despatched to Gujarat four days ago to question Gupta, the District Development Officer at Anand, in this connection, Kusum said.
