Mumbai Adopting a strident posture towards popular reality TV show 'Bigg Boss', Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Tuesday said his party won't allow the show to continue, come what may.

"In the guise of this show, Pak's green poison is entering the country. Come what may, we will not allow the show," Thackeray said in a statement in Mumbai.

"Don't issue law and order (disruption) threats to us. Shiv Sena will disrupt the TV show," Thackeray said.

Sena and Raj Thackeray-led MNS have threatened to stall the run of the hit reality TV show, protesting the inclusion of Pakistani artistes in the fourth season hosted by superstar Salman Khan.

The fourth season of the much-awaited show kicked off on October 3 with Salman unveiling the 14 contestants, including Veena Malik, Pakistani model and ex-girlfriend of cricketer Mohammed Asif and Begum Nawazish Ali, the cross-dressing host of a popular chat show in Pakistan.

The other contestants on the show include Abbas Kazmi, convicted terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab's former lawyer, veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul, Davinder Singh alias Bunty Chor, a thief from Delhi on whose life the Hindi movie 'Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye' was reportedly based and former dacoit Seema Parihar, who is facing several cases of murder.

Marhc On Thackereyjee by Dwj on 05 Oct 2010

i would expect Thackereyjee to go ahead relentlessly and launch a tirade and crusade against such a ghastly anti-national act by the so called secular bollywoodites.let him not be carried away by the stupid comments the print and the electronic media would make against him for such a tirade. because they have their own anti-India agenda , to answer to their foreign bosses. they will not come to the rescue of India when India is in trouble. the responsibility solely rests on the shoulders of the patriotic people like you Sir. Please go ahead.

Small minds. by Gopal on 05 Oct 2010

Well, well, well ; there was a silence for some time. After that, such a silly talk was expected. Some people will not grow. Nothing can be done about. Hi, friends it is only an entertainment programme. It is the children who enjoys it or get worked up. Grown up just watch it or ignore it.

The Shiv Sena and MNS goons are back at it again! by Sujeet Ramanna, Bombay on 05 Oct 2010

The Shiv Sena and MNS are million times more dangerous than Pakistani artists participating in Bigg Boss. The Shiv Sena and MNS are losing ground in Mumbai rapidly and they don%u2019t know where to turn to catch attention and gain votes for themselves. The Shiv Sena and MNS goons pick on soft targets to keep their hate propaganda on. Anything that will create division, hate and violence in this country, is the sole aim of the Shiv Sena and MNS. And they think that by doing so they will get votes for their party in the next elections. But the people of India are not fools anymore. They fell for their hate propaganda once during the 1993 riots, but since have wisened up and they have consistently made the Shiv Sena and MNS lose elections since then. The Shiv Sena and MNS are just a hate filled, sick minded, religious extremist organization parading as political parties, but they should be banned like the SIMI. no difference between Shiv Sena and MNS of India and Lashkar e Toiba of Pakistan!

Musharraf says we trained militants against India; why should India be so casual? by Indian on 05 Oct 2010

While Musharaf is openly saying that we trained militants against India, Pakistan's current foreign Minister is wrecking up Kashmir issue in the UN. We in India are so indifferent to all these that we invite Pakistanies and that to those who are no so reputed along with Indian dacoits, bandits and terror sympathisers to generate controversy and get money. Is India as a country so cheap that the commercial channels will milk it for their own profits with utter disregard for people's feelings. I am not a sympathiser of Shiv Sena, but on this issue I want the Pakisatanis to be ousted from the show along with the accused crminals of India who are being glorified through this show.

Why this drama? by dushyant on 05 Oct 2010

Pakistanis presence in the show......should be welcomed as music and tradition do not follow regional boundary.....although i doubt the person involved here are really artist and their presence or absence will do anything good or bad ........Thackery should protest against show that are against Indian ethos and culture.....not tht have Pakis actors......

Well Done Mr. Thackerays - we stand by U on this by Harry on 05 Oct 2010

What on earth did the Producers & directors of this show were thinking when they prepared the participant's list - Agreed, its controversy which pulls the crowd in & increase your TRP's - but pls. for God's sake - don't indulge the Paki's & their Cronies. U are directly rewarding and glorifying the Paki's and thieves & crooks of India. Well, my respect for Salman, whatever little by way of his acting, has also evaporated after seeing him dance with the Veena Malik's & Begums of the Paki's. Cud U enlighten us what merit do both of these have other than one being a certified whore and another a shemale. And also the rest of participants. As some one asked, don't we have enough news makers in our own country. if U do need neighbours, get from Bangladesh, Nepal or even Srilanka. Why the Paki's ?

Big Boss by Gopal on 05 Oct 2010

You are right small people have problem in fixing priority. Is it an Issue for a big leader of a large political party to react.

Kudos to Thackerey by Rajan on 05 Oct 2010

Its high time that Shows like Big Boss be banned in Indian TV Channels. When there is a strong ban of Hindi Songs, Movies in Pakistan, We the Indian Channels are running after the Pakistan Actors. One really fails to understand this. All the People in India who are the true Patriots should openly oppose the Colours TV and the Program Bigg Boss.

A good neighbour by Shah Khan on 05 Oct 2010

In reaction to the ban on Pakistani stars in Indian tv shows, all Pakistanis should boycott the Indian cine & tv stars.

Boycott Indian Films and TV by maccikhan on 05 Oct 2010

It will be too good. Any way by doing so what else you, the Pakistani Youth and Families would have see on your TV's. India will feel the effect a Pinch, It you who loose, because it is Pakistani's who are more fond of Indian Films and Indian TV. Indians seldom switch on to Pakistan TV. Go ahead impose ban we loose nothing much.

Big Boss-4 by J. Godbole on 05 Oct 2010
