Accusing the UPA Government of pursuing "Muslim appeasement" policy, the Gujarat chief minister said Congress went ahead with Sachchar Commission recommendations to wean away its Muslim votebank from the BSP and the SP.
Campaigning for BJP candidates in Ballia and Deoria, Modi said the UPA led by the "private limited " party of Sonia Gandhi was sinking with its alliance partners.

lots of criticism for modi but one has to realise that reality of gujarat is different, people are living in peace , modi never went their to kill anybody. see the parsi's in gujarat they prosper themselves and contributing in progress of gujarat since they came from iran in boat not thousands only some hundreads. we, hindus never converted them but, our ancenstors allowed them to perform their religion. musilms wants to converts other religion people into their faith but, hindu's never did it. thanks modi for making development for all in gujarat not for hindu's or not for muslims.
