A day after more than 100 MPs joined hands to remove the ‘autocratic’ Gill to 'save Indian hockey,' the IHF supreme said he was well aware of the Parliamentarians' concern.
On one MP's reported comments that 'electric shock should be given to the system,' Gill said, "IHF is in the process of giving the shock."
"We would like and appreciate constructive suggestions by the MPs and others concerned. The Federation will consider such suggestions with great regard," he said.
Gill expressed confidence that MPs' inputs would help him revive Indian hockey.
"I am sure that Indian hockey will gain by the notice and interest taken by the Members of Parliament," he said.
Gill has been under attack after India failed to qualify for the Olympics for the first time in 80 years following their 2-0 defeat to Great Britain in the final of the Olympic qualifiers in Santiago, Chile.

Constructive suggestion for MPs, keep your stupid nose out of IHF. Mr. Gill is nationalist man, and shold not be bashed for lose place in Olypic games at Beiging. We all see how they take care of nation's business....so shut up!
People like Gill are a shame on all the sikhs. He has helped in total destruction of the Indian Hockey team and has spoiled the careers of many upcoming stars because of his ego problems. He deals with the players as if he is dealing with terrorists, not to say the least, he failed on the latter front too.
New Word in dictionary: Gill. Meaning: Clinging on to the chair even when utterly shamed by circumstances.
Of all these 100 MPs, who are showing so much concern for the fall of hockey and demanding a sack for Gill, did even one of them go to the airport to meet the members of the defeated team that was so much in need for consolation? It looks so ridiculous. Even Hockey teams returning from abroad with Trophies have never received the types of monies and/or the receptions that the cricket players receive after one solitary victory in a small little tournament. Sad, indeed, sad.
Sir, India's humiliating exit from the Olympics in humiliation to all Indians. Mr. Gill and his secretary, Mr.Jyothikumar have been occupying the posts for so long without any tangible results. The time has come for both of them to go, if not certain legislative powers should be invoked and throm them out. A new body must be constituted giving good representations to the players who played international hockey. National championships under-16, under-19, Universities should be revived. A couple of hockey acadamies should be planned. Visiting foreign consultants should be roped in. Indians have the feeling that they are the best. The fact that we are below par in methodical planning and executing. The bottom line is clear. Mr. Gill and Mr. Kumar should resign forthwith to save Indian Hockey.
It is not the duty of MPs to form a 'gang' against elite people, as they forget that our nation has to do many thanks to them, including them. They should know certain facts. 1. average caloric intake of an indian labourer is 2500 calories, while a minimum should be 3500. 2) average caloric intake of women is even lower. 3) an average sedentary westerner easily consumes 4000 calories a day (though this is not ideal either)4) for a human to reach it's ultimate growth potential, it needs good nutrition from the start of it's life during it's mothers womb. So women have to be healthy to produce healthy babies, and the vicious circle can only be broken during 2-3 successive generations. 5)do they remember how many even in their own family have reached ultimate growth. If not, do not expect the general population to start doing miracle. INSTEAD THEY SHOULD BE SCRAMBLING TO UNDERSTAND THE NUTRITION (BJOHAN) AND IT'S IMPACT (BHUKMARI) UPON OUR SOCIETY, AND THIS SHOULD BE THE THE TOP PRIORITY
A coach or leader can only do his or her best to train a team. The team has an obligation to practice to the best of it's ability. If the coach rules, that the team did best to it's ability, we should still thank the team and it's coach. The current debacle should not be handled by our MPs who hardly do any exercise themselves, and their response undoubtedly is bher chal or politically motivated. If someone asks them, what have they done now or even in their lifetime to uplift the standard of health and games in India, then one or two may perhaps qualify with any degree of honesty.
Nothing wrong in sacking Mr Gill, but the goverment needs to spell out a complete plan as to what is the next step, and it is going to take to have our honor back. A complete plan is what we need from A to Z
Mr. K.P.S. Gill. With all due respect to your former post, Please SHUT UP and leave now. You have ruined indian hockey to the extent that it people are talking about taking away the national game tag from the sport. Indian hockey has been our identity, like peacock is our national bird, hockey is our game. if the peacock population starts to come down, we will not choose pigeons. but sir, resign with whatever grace is left in you as you bring shame to us.
Come on Mr Gill, the country has had enough of your Hitalarian style of functioning during the past fourteen long years bringing disaster to indian hockey. to save further embarassment, the central government should step in immediately.
one of these topiwalas should be made president of indian hockey federation so that india win gold medal in next olympic.
they will have only one constructive suggestion: "get out U xxxxxxx"
Mr. Gill should watch live parliamnet proceedings and he will understand what type of constructive suggestions he will get.
