Court grants bail to three in Dewani murder case

Mumbai A special MCOCA court on Monday granted bail to three persons allegedly involved in the murder of a former secretary of bollywood actress Manisha Koirala in 2001.

Special MCOCA judge R G Avachat granted bail to Nizamuddin Abdul Rauf, Ayub Patel and Akhilesh Singh who were allegedly involved in the conspiracy to kill Ajit Dewani.

Extradited gangster Abu Salem is also facing trial in the same case.

One of the accused, Upendra Singh, had allegedly barged into Dewani's office in suburban Andheri and shot him.

The murder was allegedly carried out on the instructionsof Salem due to Dewani's failure to pay the extortion amount.
