New Delhi, April 5: A Delhi court on Saturday rejected the bail plea of arms dealer Suresh Nanda, his son and two others in a case of manipulating evidence on alleged kickbacks received by him in defence deals.

Rejecting their bail applications, additional sessions judge IK Kochar said, "Investigations are at an initial stage and releasing reports at this point of time may hamper the probe."

The four accused -- Suresh Nanda, Sanjeev Nanda, their chartered accountant Bipin Shah and Income Tax Deputy Director (Investigation) Ashutosh Verma -- were arrested on March 8 in a raid at a Mumbai hotel.
