New Delhi, June 3: Rajesh Talwar, father of Noida teenager Aarushi who was found murdered in her house, was remanded to two days' CBI custody by a designated court in Ghaziabad after the probe agency claimed he was not cooperating in the investigation.

While seeking a five-day remand of Talwar, a dentist, the CBI counsel informed the court that he needed to be grilled further as he was not cooperating.

The court, after hearing lengthy arguments of the defence and the prosecution on the remand matter, granted two more days' remand of Talwar to the CBI to enable it question him further.

However, the defence counsel contested the CBI's demand saying that the agency could question or interview his client even if he was sent to judicial custody.

The CBI, however, made it clear that it required to question him in detail besides conducting a polygraphy (lie) detection test and narco analysis to understand the crime scene.

The CBI registered a regular case against unknown people on June one in the sensational murder of Aarushi and her domestic help Hemraj.
