Chandigarh, February 15 Even as groups like Max Foundation, Reliance, Fortis, Apollo and Narayan Vidhyala in Bangalore expressed their interest in the Medicity project of Chandigarh Administration, the authorities are yet to finalise the site of the project. Around 20 applications from hospital groups across the country have expressed their interest in the project as the last date of receiving the applications ended today.

While the Expression Of Interest (EOI) were invited for the Medicity for the site measuring 45 acres at Raipur Khurd near the Phase III of the Industrial Area last month, the senior officials expressed their reservation on the location of the site.

The Administration is now contemplating another chunk of land at Mani Majra near the Phase III of the IT Park. No final decision on the exact chunk of land has been arrived at.
