Delegation of pilgrims to Pakistan welcomed back

Ludhiana, March 12 A Delegation of pilgrims who recently returned after paying obeisance at Katasraj temple in Pakistan, was given a warm welcome at Vaishno Devi Temple in Housing Board colony here today.

The delegation to Pakistan was led by Housefed Chairman Krishan Kumar Bawa, who is also the president of All India Bairagi Maha Mandal. The delegation included B K Gupta, Ramesh Joshi, Jeewan Dhawan, Harvinder Happy, Ajay Sharma, Ravinder Nath Aggarwal, Satish Kapoor, Subhash Chander, Inder Mehra, Omkar Bagga, Meena Gupta and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Bawa said that Katasraj, a temple of Lord Shiv, is very special for the Hindus, and has been mentioned in the Hindu scriptures too. Ramesh Joshi, a Congress leader and Jeewan Dhawan, an Akali leader said that over 150 people from all over the country had gone to Katasraj to pay obeisance. He said that these devotees had gone via the Attari and Wagha border.
