Patna, January 7: Accusing the Congress government in Delhi of trying to turn the national capital into a "police state" by trying to introduce mandatory ID-proof for its citizens, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday threatened to launch a satyagraha if it went ahead with the measure.

"The decision is discriminatory and violative of the provisions of the Constitution. An attempt is being made by the Delhi government to turn the national capital into a police state," Kumar told reporters on the sidelines of the 'Janata Darbar' and said the people of Bihar would not take the decision lying down.

"Over eight crore people of Bihar will rise in revolt and launch a satyagrha against the step. It is aimed against the migrant labourers from other states, including Bihar," he said.

"Despite being a Chief Minister, I'll be duty bound to lead the satyagarha movement likely to be launched by the people of Bihar against such the arbitray decision," Kumar said.

He said when the government was unable to promptly issue death and birth certificates as well as electoral photo-identity cards to a large sections of the society, how would it be able to provide I-cards to Delhi residents by January 15.

"The measure infringes on the right to free movement, employment and settlement guaranteed under article 370 of the Constitution, barring in Jammu and Kashmir," he said.

Kumar, in a letter to the Prime Minister on Sunday, had deprecated the move.

This fascist government of the Congress and other anti-national parties of the country at the Center, wants to issue I-card only to Delhi residents so that Indian citizens of other states cannot enter Delhi, and can be checked and controlled, violating their fundamental rights. On the other hand the same fascist government has been against issuing I-cards for the whole nation to stop Bangladshi muslims and other muslim terrorists entering the country and staying put permanently and illegally. This government apparently feels safe from all sorts of muslim terrorists and illegals entering the nation, but feels insecure from her own citizensentering Delhi!!! What sort of anti-national outlook this government carries, is the prime question the people of India and the sychophant English media need to ask them.

What Indian and Delhi should look for is direct election of PM and CM. Get rid of autocratic parliamentary ticket distribution system that is not democracy.Some sort of control is good. Example, if there are 5 software engineer for 1 job, the pays will go down.If there are 6 sunziwala for selling the same vegetables, all of them will be poor.The Bihari labour made lot of money in Fiji, mauritius, South Africa and Suriname. They should reconnect with them, ask them to invest and make Bihar and UP prosperous again.
