To be operated on the scale of a top notch private school, the school is also expected to provide a baseline data for the Government to judge private school demands for higher fee. "This will help the Government figure out how much money one really needs to run a private institution" said Government sources.
Education Minister A S Lovely has announced that two sites - on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg and Laxmibai Nagar - have been identified to set up these schools. The schools will be run by a society headed by the Chief Minister and assisted by the Education Minister, and the school board would comprise of eminent educationists.
