Ambala, January 30 The Congress Party will benefit with the introduction of new delimitation of Assembly constituencies and Lok Sabha seats in Haryana, stated Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee working president Kuldeep Sharma today.

He said that under the delimitation, there would be scope to introduce new faces against new constituencies under the process. That’s why only his party has welcomed the decision while others are protesting it.

Sharma was interacting with mediapersons at the PWD Rest House, Ambala Cantonment, today. In reply to a question, he criticised former chief minister Bhajan Lal and his son Kuldip Bishnoi for their anti-party activities. He said only now they have realised that they are losing ground without the party. The followers whose support they originally claimed, have started deserting them. The time is not far away, he said, when they themselves will feel as rootless leaders. He also suggested they quit Congress since they have now floated their own party.

Commenting on the role of BJP in Haryana politics, he said it was a party without supporters. He said the BJP has lost popularity among the electorate and has no future in the state. The BJP, he pointed out, had always survived on alliances with other parties and had no existence of its own. He said even though the party claims to consist of disciplined cadres, they still quarrel among themselves.

He also criticised the INLD supremo for his dual standards in misleading the people with hollow promises. District Congress Committee Ambala president Narinder Shera and other local leaders were also present on the occasion.
