Hisar, January 14 Recalling the commitment made by the Haryana Congress during the previous Assembly elections for the constitution of a separate Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, general secretary of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Didar Singh Nalvi said Sikhs of Haryana will be forced to launch a morcha if a Bill on the issue is not tabled in the forthcoming Assembly session.

Addressing mediapersons here, he said, “We will be forced to come out on the roads in case the Congress-led Haryana government fails to table the Bill for setting up Haryana SGPC, as there is a great resentment among the Sikhs of Haryana who voted the Congress to power.”

Highlighting the contribution of Punjabis, including Sikhs, in the overall development and prosperity of Haryana, he urged Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to initiate action for implementing Punjabi as a second language in Haryana.

He said Hooda should fulfill the task left incomplete by Om Prakash Chautala.
