Karachi, July 9: Former Kiwi pacer Danny Morrison says he would be disappointed if any team pulls out of the Champions Trophy or send a depleted side but also defended the apprehensions, saying the Westerners look at the security issues in a different way.

Morrison was in Karachi as a commentator for the Asia Cup and admitted he too was hesitant to come to Pakistan. "I know the Aussies are skeptical about coming to Pakistan. England and New Zealand also mainly because they have experienced turmoil a few times in the past. Australians have always had a strong stand on that."

"It's a different scenario for us westerners because it's so different in Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. There is massive amount of people," Morrison said. Morrison said he feared that some teams might send depleted sides including Australia.

"But that would be disappointing since Australia are the World Champions. In the end its there own personal preference for playing in the tournament. You just have to be comfortable to what you are doing," he said.

However the former paceman said security was tight during the Asia Cup. "It's fine for us because the security is so strong and you are not going to the troubled areas. But you must understand that the way things are happening in Pakistan is different for westerners, because we have a different way of life. It seems all right at the moment but anything can happen."

He though said things can be dangerous anywhere in the world. "It can be London, New York, anywhere. It's nice to be back because it's a lot more comfortable now."
