Dhoni's extortionist traced by cops

Ranchi A city criminal who allegedly wrote threatening letters to Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his family in December last year demanding ransom has been traced. Mohammad Taslim, wanted in a half a dozen cases of extortion, dacoity and murder would be brought from Bhunbneshwar to Ranchi on Saturday by a police team on transit remand secured from the Chief Judicial Magistrate's court.

Taslim had threatened to blow up Dhoni's residence if he was not given the money he demanded following which an FIR was lodged against him by the Doranda police station.

"We expect to resolve a number of criminal cases after we have him (Taslim) in Ranchi," Ranchi SSP Praveen Kumar Singh told The Indian Express.
