New Delhi, January 31 Thursday, January 31
A surprise phone call from Bloom Public School, Vasant Kunj, invites Rajni and her husband for an informal interaction on either February 2, 4 or 5.

“We were waiting for tomorrow’s list, so this early announcement seems promising. Perhaps they have received fewer registrations?”

Later, at an interaction for son Anush at Delhi Public School, Vasasnt Kunj, Rajni is told that she needs to submit more substantial proof of her residential address. An affidavit is evidently no longer enough. She has until next week to produce a supporting letter confirming she really is a resident of Vasant Kunj.

Friend Bhavna has been asked to do the same. Back on the nursery blog, Rajni asks parents about their application status at Amity International. “I have no idea when they are coming out with the list. The website doesn’t mention this.”

Tomorrow, Heritage and Tagore International schools are releasing their first lists. “They are both high up on my nursery wishlist... let’s see what happens.”
