New Delhi, February 9 Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today launched another round of Pulse Polio Campaign in the Capital by administering anti-polio drops to children at a function organised at her residence. Delhi's Pulse Polio Immunisation programme is slated to commence again on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dikshit said it would be ensured that no virus of polio could enter Territory of National Capital. The Chief Minister revealed that two cases of polio have been reported this year. Moreover, 592 cases have been reported this year in the country against 676 last year. She urged parents to come forward and bring their children up to five years of age for immunisation at polio booths. Health Minister Yoganand Shastri said 7,500 polio booths will be set up tomorrow.
