"There is a strong realisation in Pakistani security agencies that without the help of elements in India, the Mumbai crime could have not been committed," official sources were quoted as saying by the Dawn newspaper on Tuesday.
In what could further delay the prosecution of Mumbai attackers, the paper said Pakistan is also seeking DNA samples of the terrorists involved in the strikes and more information about contacts made by them through the internet.
The Pakistani investigation report into the Mumbai attacks, which was reviewed on Monday at a meeting of the Defence Committee of the Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, would be sent to New Delhi in a couple of days, the paper quoted these officials.
In its report, Pakistan has sought results of DNA tests on Ajmal Kasab and the nine other attackers killed by Indian security forces so that these could be matched with their family members, if any, in Pakistan, the sources said.
Pakistan wants information about weapons used by the terrorists and details of mobile phone calls made by them and taped by Indian security agencies.

Pak is right, locals have a hand in 26/11. Parnab does not have the gutts to comeout and accept it, and he is trying to dump on Pak ,as India always did, lets blame Pak,to cover up our own incompetent inteligence.

People are now tired of hearing that Pakistan is behind the attacks and with "strong" protests registered by UPA. OK, now that we know Pakistan is involved and is blaming India. So, what is next? It is now almost 2 1/2 months since the incident. Register more protests? Cry once more before western countries? Keep hoping that USA will take some action against Pak.? What exactly is UPA planning to do? Actually, Pakistan may be right that these terrorists had local support. I do not think that a group of foreigners can carry out a mission with this accuracy in the middle of the night without any local support.
Finally, we are seeing some sense being made here. It is absoluetly stupid to assume that the entire strike was carried out with out local logistical support. I must say that I am completly dis illusionized with the UPA government playing vote bank politics even at this juncture. By not disclosing the local links to the dealiest terror strikes on India, UPA government has put the entire nation at a greater risk. It is time for them to GO.

I think Pakistan is right, known elements in India starting with a weak and spineless PM, foreigner shadow (real) PM. Lalu, Amar Singh, Paswan, other criminal politicians, incompetent and corrupt police force, defunct security apparatus, Maharashtra ATS which was busy targeting nationalists instead of gunning for terrorists, Muslim clergy, liberal press - all have helped Pakistan and terrorists in screwing India
A nation may be forced to make choices when it's existence is threatened and ridiculed. Such choices are great when these are made by people who have guts to stand up and finish the job till it reaches a logical conclusion. History is full of such examples, and heroic battles. Such decisions are made by ordinary politicians who are honest, and they rise naturally to the occasion, as any ordianary man or woman is capable of, when thrust into such dire situation. The situation is tricky, when the political process is dishonest, and people with all shades of background including thugs and criminals can get a ticket to be elected. These people can not have the spine or the wisdom to rise when needed, and their clamour is usually on nonsense issues which leads to nothing except votes by deception. Indians are tired of such brand as we still remain poorest of the poor in general, and to take insult from a country like Pakistan which is defunct due to terrorism, is unbearable.

We cannot expect any headway with the Pakis by dialogue. The only solution is military. But our leaders are not courageous or bold enough to take it. It is so sad. A great country with great people let down by men of straw.

this is ridiculous!! to reply to India's dossier to give information about those Pakistanis involved in mumbai attack, it is asking the information of those indians who might have helped obviously, otherwise how would they have got to their destined places!! do they really required them as the transcripts of the terrorists conversation over satellite phone was already given!initially they said, those involved are under house-arrest, later they doesnt know their whereabouts, then the plot was not from pakistan soil but from bangladesh intially then from europe, from middle-east to far east!? some time it will do everything against terroris, othertimes, it has no control over non-state actors!? if they have no control and truly wants to stop this, why dont they acknowledge it ask for help instead of playing like this?? this surely shows the governments involvement instead of non-state powers alone, as they are hand in glove so protecting each other.

Initially the Paks said the 26/11 killer were non-Pakistanis. then they said they were Hindu Indians (Remember the orange wrist-band theory?). Then they disowned their citizens as "Non-State Elements". Then they said Kasab was not a Pakistani.For GOd's why can't these Paks own up and go against their anti-Humane element who target the innocents? After the 9/11 in the US, the Saudis accepted that Saudis elements were involved and went against them. The world supported Saudi Arabia. due to present Pakistani stand the Pakis have lost all moral support of the world and are today considered as the country where terrorists breed like no where else in the world.

Yes , for once the Pakis Trecherous Heathen (PTH) are correct that elements in India helped to carry out 26/11 attacks. Most of them sit in the Parliment in New Delhi. After the attack on the Parliment , they entered into a secret deal with thet errorists and the Paki Trecherous Heathen that India will not do anything except bombast if the terrorists do not attack them. This is the reason that there has not been a single attack on the Parliment since then. So PTH is correct in saying that help for the 26/11 attacks came from within

This statement of Pakistan is believable!! The simple reason is that there are millions of muslims in India who " bite the hand that feed them"!! Though you cannot suspect the loyalty of all muslims living in India, there will be quite a percentage who will collude with Pak-based terror groups or the ISI in Pakistan to white-ant India's security from within! That is the reason why countries try to infiltrate enemy countries with spies!! I don't know HOW India is going to solve this problem!! BEST OF LUCK to India!!
